Samsung Galaxy SII To Launch In April

By Simon D Thomas on 07th April, 2011

The Samsung Galaxy SII will launch in April as originally planned and won't be delayed as rumours were suggesting. Samsung confirmed the information on their Twitter account and stated that the smartphone will be rolled out across local markets gradually.

The Galaxy SII is the successor to the hugely successful Samsung Galaxy S and has a fantastic specification.

A 4.27 inch touch-screen will provide excellent multi-media playback , while the 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM will provide enough power for amazing gaming and fast loading times.

You can take shots on the 8 mega-pixel camera which also doubles to record 1080p HD video which can be output to your TV using the built-in HDMI port. Two versions will be available with either 16GB or 32GB of onboard memory. Android 2.3 will power the Samsung Galaxy SII which means it will support NFC and WiFi firect.

The Samsung Galaxy SII is expected to cost around £600 Sim-Free, which may seem pricey but it does have the pretty much the best specification of any mobile in the world.
