Jailbreak 4.3.2 Untethered On iPhone And iPad With Redsn0w– How To Guide

I seem to have been a bit rustic with the jailbreak stories lately. The primary reason being the excessive workload and managing time efficiently to continually update the blog as often as we did.
The iPhone Dev team released its latest version of the Redsnow; Redsn0w 0.9.6rc13 that will support untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3.2 devices excluding the iPad 2. The procedures shared below aren’t for those who rely on carrier unlock. The following steps can be used to jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 for both the Macs and Windows using the Redsn0w:
1. Download iOS 4.3.2 from the links at the end of this post.
2. Restore to iOS 4.3.2 using the iPSW file that has been downloaded in the earlier step.
3. Start Redsn0w and direct it to the said iOS 4.3.2 firmware file.
4. In the window that opens up you can check on Install Cydia and hit Next to proceed further.
5. Switch off your iOS 4.3.2 device and plug it in your system, with this done click Next.
You will then be asked to enter in the DFU mode. This can be done by:
  • Hold the Power button and whilst holding the Power button press the Home button as well.
  • Release the Power button but continue holding the Home button until installation starts.
6. From here on Redsn0w will do the rest for you. Upon finishing your iPad, iPhone 4 will be jailbroken on the iOS 4.3.2.
You can download Redsn0w 0.9.6rc14 for Windows or for Mac from here.
